Sad News: It is with heart felt sorry that we report the death of Sydell Mittler. Sydell fell and fatally injured her head while walking her dog, after bringing food to break the fast to her daughters house on Yom Kippur. Sydell was an advancing player who loved to play and learn, and made time to play every chance she had. Sydell will be missed by all at The Bridge Table

Ed Vadala 1940-2009 It is with regret and heartfelt sorrow, that we announce the passing of a dear friend, wonderful player, gracious opponent, and fellow teacher, Ed Vadala. Ed embodied Bridge at it's best, and in addition to being a life master and champion, he championed bridge itself by unselfishly sharing and teaching others to be better players. Ed will be missed by all at The Bridge Table.

Linda's 11+ October total beat out regular partner John Dudas by nearly a point. Linda will enjoy a free week of bridge at The Bridge Table (Kudo's to Mary Ellen for the highest M.P. Total, Bridge Table personnel are not eligible). Mary Beck & Carol Palermo our Co- "0-20" players of the month. Mary & Carol's nearly 3 point total beat out Jim Button's 1.90 for 0-20 top honors. Mary & Carol's will receive an engraved plaques commemerating his achievement at The Bridge Table.
